Network & Client Versions
This page provides the canonical information regarding Chain IDs and current client versions for the CrossFi Mainnet and Testnet.
Only the latest binary is expected to work. Previous versions are considered legacy and may not function correctly with the current state of the network. Always ensure you are running the version listed as Current below.
Version Matrix
| Network | Cosmos Chain ID | EVM Chain ID | Current Client Version | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mainnet | crossfi-mainnet-1 | 4158 | v0.4.0 | Current |
| Testnet | crossfi-evm-testnet-1 | 4157 | v0.4.0 | Current |

How we verify chain-id and version (source of truth)
You can verify the canonical chain-id and running status version by querying the node RPC directly:
Check Chain ID
Query the /status endpoint to confirm the network name (chain-id):
- Mainnet:
https://tendermint-rpc.mainnet.ms/status(result.node_info.network) - Testnet:
https://tendermint-rpc.testnet.ms/status(result.node_info.network)
Check Client Version
Query the /abci_info endpoint to confirm the active protocol version:
- Mainnet:
https://tendermint-rpc.mainnet.ms/abci_info(result.response.version) - Testnet:
https://tendermint-rpc.testnet.ms/abci_info(result.response.version)
Verifying Your Version
You can verify your specified node version by running the following command:
crossfid version
Ensure the output matches the Current Client Version for your target network.
